“Arwana ceramic tiles” is a brand name signifying quality products, exceptional services and low cost products. Arwana was incorporated in 1993 when the founders recognized a need for offering building material products to property industry. Arwana became a rapid growing venture in the ceramic industry.

As of December 2008, Arwana’s total capacity was 27.460.000 sqm per year, produced by three factories respectively located in Tangerang, Serang and Gresik East Java.

Production Plants
The company is a ceramic floor tile and wall tile manufacturer with three manufacturing plants. The first plant located in Pasar Kemis, Tangerang Banten, and second plant located in Cikande, Serang- Banten, serving the West Indonesia area and the third plant located in Gresik, East Java, serving the demand in East Java and the eastern part of Indonesia.

In 1995, from a plant located on a land area of 2.6 ha in Tangerang, the first plant commenced the production of ceramic tiles with two production lines and an annual capacity of 3.780.000 sqm.

After two years, a new plant was built on a land area of 9.5 ha in Serang, the second plant commenced production in July 1997 with an annual capacity of 4.500.000 sqm. In December 2008, the total production capacity of Plant II was 15.940.000 sqm per year because of Plant IIB expansion and the wall tile manufacturing plant (Plant IIC) expansion.

Years passed the company had continued to grow. In May 2002, the third Plant was built in Gresik having two production lines, Plant IIIA and Plant IIIB on a land area of 7.2 ha with an annual capacity of 3.600.000 sqm per year.

By the end of 2008, production capacity of Plant III was 8.280.000 sqm per year after expansion.

In October 2009 the company has successfully added Plant IIIC (First Phase), an annex of Plant III in Gresik East Java. This was conducted in response to the ever- increasing demand. Plant IIIC was built with a modern structural design, equipped with high technology machineries and caring for calm and greenery environment and is currently operating for commercial production. By the completion of Plant IIIC first phase, the production capacity of plant III becomes 13.500.000 sqm/year. The second phase will be commencing its operation at the second semester of 2010.
